Exciting Breakfast with Pancakes

Hearty Pancake Recipe

Whole wheat flour as well as farina made these pancakes delicious in texture and truly heart-healthy due to their high fiber value. 1 cup entire wheat flour 1/4 cup all-purpose flour 1/3 cup uncooked farina (such as Cream of Wheat) 1/3 cup sugar 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 1/2 cups vanilla soy milk 1/4 cup applesauce 1 big egg, lightly beaten Cooking spray 1/2 cup golden raisins, divided 1/2 cup coarsely chopped walnuts, divided 1/4 cup maple syrup


Gently scoop all of the flours using dry measuring cups; smooth out the top surface using a knife. In a big container, blend flours, farina, sugar, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Whisk mixture utilizing a whisk. In a different bowl, blend altogether milk, applesauce, and egg, stirring till nicely blended. Stir milk mixture into flour mixture. Whisk till properly mixed. Put aside batter for five minutes.

Serve along with syrup.
